We now have our second act for the 2016 contest, and it’s the Highway for Montenegro. A professional jury has decided that the band Highway should follow on from Knez, who received the highest ever Montenegrin result. The band came to popularity on the X Factor Adria, where they ended up in 4th place.
The members of the band are Petar Tošić, Marko Pešić and Luka Vojvodić. They presented their first single at this year’s Suncane Skale Festival, where they came third in the New Stars section. After their growth in popularity, a professional jury comprising of members of the Council of the Montenegrin public broadcaster RTCG decided that they would be a perfect fit for Europe’s biggest stage.
